Middle School

Holy Trinity Middle School serves students in grades sixth through eighth. Our faculty and staff appreciate the God-given uniqueness of growth and change our middle school students experience as they prepare to transition between elementary school and high school.

Our highly credentialed middle school faculty and curriculum offer a rigorous academic experience; with our Catholic faith at the heart of our curriculum forms the foundation of all we do in the classroom to achieve our mission.

Authentically Catholic: Weekly participation in the sacrament of the Mass, quarterly participation in reconciliation, and preparation for Confirmation in the eighth grade. In addition to students receiving the sacraments, the middle school students take leadership during the liturgies as:

  • Altar Servers
  • Lectors
  • Leading the weekly rosary
  • Song leaders, and musicians
  • Regularly scheduled time in the Adoration Chapel

Academically Excellent: Middle school faculty/staff are dedicated to developing the desire to learn critical thinking, and organizational skills.

The middle school core curriculum of English, Literature, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion are enhanced with the use of technology such as smart board and chrome books for research, reading comprehension activities, group work, presentations, mapping skills, and other enrichment activities. In addition to the core curriculum our middle school includes:

One of the new trends to facilitate communication between parents and teachers is providing parents instantaneous access to grading information. Holy Trinity is now proud to offer this tool to all our middle school families. This online program is called Educate and allows parents to see information such as daily assignment grades, missing assignments, test scores and comments. If you have any questions please contact your student’s teachers or Mr. Thompson at dthompson@holytrinityssp.org. To access the Educate applications please click here.
